Compared to some stories I've heard its gone okay I guess so far, at least she wasn't really angry, and that's a start.
Talk to her about like an adult and im sure she'll understand, you're her lil boy and its a big shock to hear something like that

she probably needs to work through it first before she can have an honest, open conversation about it.

she told me she loves me and supports me in whatever i do.
"this is going to be a tough life because of all the people in the world and it can be lonely too" and it was a shock to her apparently
