 It's late in the evening. The street lights pulse wearily. It's a city full of dull people, going on normal, everynight dates, falling in and out of love like soap opera characters.
For the most part, that is.
In your eyes, the buzz of the street lights is commonplace, their glow the soft line of mothballs leading to the moon. The pavement of this street is a red carpet made of asphalt. After dark, this street belongs to a symphony of bright colors, happy people, and thumping music, for this street ends in Club Yuikure.
Yuikure is a state-of-the-art facility built especially for people like you. You see the world in terms of bright colors and thumping beats. You see the world in terms of glow sticks, flashing lights, and moving bodies. You're a social animal who lives on sweetness, an explosion of kindergarten in a grown-up's body. Or perhaps you lurk on the fringes of darkness, held in this brightly colored realm by spikes, chains, and hard, pounding music. Wherever you stand, uou can't wait to meet more people like you.
Yuikure hosts the city's finest raves. A fresh local DJ every night, along with the occasional crowd-pleasing big-shot. Pretty colors galore. Happy people everywhere. Peace, Love, Unity, Respect. A world made of sunshine in the darkness.
It's just the kind of sunshine that candy-coated flower in your heart needs to grow. In the darkly bright world of Yuikure, the seed of love takes root and blossoms.

1. Do not break the Gaia ToS under any circumstances. That means no smex.
2. Obey me, for I am your goddess.
3. PLUR. Peace, Love, Unity, Respect. Uphold this, pretty please.
4. Literacy, please. Avoid one-liners, speak in third person, and be coherent. No godmoding, no killing, and no smex.
5. I know this is a rave roleplay, but please don't break my eyeballs with outrageously colored fonts. We need your posts to be legible.
6. You may have up to THREE {3} characters, but you MUST distinguish between them. Different post styles would be appreciated. You can use pictures in these post styles, but please consider their size. OOC speak should be denoted with brackets, double-parentheses, { these things }, or something similar. However you denote your OOC works.
7. Fantasy races and magic are completely welcomed, just don't go too crazy with it. We do not cast Magic Missile while we're playing lazer-tag, nor do we summon a horde of demons to spring out of the water fountain, this is not a zombie apocolypse, and we're not having an orcs vs centaurs vs elves vs furries war. Kapeesh?
8. This is a Raver's Romance roleplay. As that would suggest, romance of any kind is allowed. You can be seeking marriage, you can be any sexuality you want, you can fall in lurve with whoever you wish, or you can just be out for a hot date. Doesn't matter to me. But remember, Gaia says PG-13, so no smex!
9. I intend for this to be a long-term RP. If you're gonna be absent for awhile, please let me know.
10. PM your profiles to me. Your appearance can be words or a picture, whatever you think will do the best job of representing your character. Be descriptive please! Just as a rules-reading check, please title your PM "PLUR!"

~~Setting: Club Yuikure~~
Yuikure (that's You-ee-koo-ree) is the hottest rave club in town. In fact, it's the only one in town, and because of that, it's pretty darn big. The main floor is 75,000 square feet mostly comprised of epic dance floors. There are three smaller rooms on the east and west walls of the club, and, of course, there are large, accomodating bathrooms. The high ceiling is lined with lights and speakers, and three giant plasma TV screens. There are several TV screens on the north wall, behind the stage from which the DJ spins. The small rooms follow a similar layout.
Yuikure is a multi-floored facility. Along the south wall of the main dance floor, there's a row of five elvators that will take you from one floor to another, and a staircase at each end of the room. Above this, on the second floor, there is a cafe of sorts. It's accomodating to the raver's tastes, and you can pretty much find anything you need there, be it a battery for something you brought, an extra glowstick, a pack of Skittles, or an energy drink. There are circular tables and poofy chairs aplenty, should you want to sit down and enjoy a small period of rest.
Beneath the hubbub of the main club, there's a very unique and very fun experience lying in wait. The basement of Yuikure is home to Laez, the club's lazer-tag battleground. Players can join a team or fly solo. They are given a gun that shoots only beams of light, and with this they hunt the other players. The arena is a maze of constructed obstacles and human bodies. As a player, you are both predator and prey, but you seek not to hurt your fellows.
Yuikure is found 12 streets away from the center of town, at the end of West Winsbrook Avenue. It's about 5 miles from the public university and about 2 miles from the mall. The street runs about a quarter of a mile, and, for the most part, is lined with shops and restaurants. The local rave crew often stops in the Buck Market (dollar store), the Bluetable Grill, and a few other small establishments for replenishing themselves. The bus stop that brings most of the Yuikure regulars from their homes, dorms, and apartments to the club is about 500 yards from the club itself, leading the crowd nightly down the street to the city's portal into the Underworld's Wonderland.
