How it works

There is a theme, such as "books with only one word in the title," and then people must list seven books that adhere to this theme. (Seven because in fantasy 3, 7, and 9 tend to be the numbers most strongly associated with magic.) Then, there will be a new theme, and so on.

RULES

Even if you can think of several, only list one book per post.

You can post more than once for the same theme, but don't post twice in a row.

The books do not need to be fantasy books. Given the guild, most of them probably will wind up being that way, but it isn't necessary.

List the author if you know it.

When posting a book that the theme applies to, name only a single book, not an entire series, because someone else might want to list a different book in that series as their post. (For example, say The Golden Compass instead of the His Dark Materials trilogy.)

List the current theme and all of the examples about the current theme in your own post before listing your own example. You don't need to "quote" them all; just copy and paste. Do this so that there's no question about when seven books have been listed and a new theme should begin.

The person that lists the seventh book for one theme must supply a new theme.

The person that supplies the new theme may give an example of that theme as #1 if they wish, but they are not required to.

If 5 days pass without anyone posting in this game I will declare the current theme too difficult and supply a new one.
