Hello! This is a topic for poetry. You post an original poem here, but there's a twist. The person before you has to decide the topic for your poem. Got it? I'll start with my poem Beware The wind whipped through shadowed trees "Beware!" they whispered The opaque moonlight sliced through the dark of still water "Beware!" they whispered The silver stag flickered through the trees, flight from gray wolf "Beware!" they whispered My bow the starlight glinted off, rapid death through iron pain "Beware!" they whispered A pool of blood, eager tongues, and drink "Beware!" they whispered
The next topic for the next poet will be:
Night

Night
It falls and I rise stronger and renewed hidden in the shadows as I hide from the light It falls and I rise joyous and alive clinging to the feeling when I usually push away It falls and I rise desperate yet calm heart racing wildly blood coursing through me It falls and I rise feral and unhindered fearing no consequence where consequence should mean most It falls and I rise careless and free running through this playground only eight hours deep It falls and I rise satisfied yet somber savoring the darkness before the light comes again It rises and I fall frustrated and alone slipping on the mask only moonlight can thaw
There's my poem. And...my topic for the next poet is...desire. Have fun!
