Sooo I've decided to start a new thread series talking about big events in the DCU, publications, movies...Whatever. Expect a new TBD towards the end of every month. The point of these threads is to invoke debate, discussion, and all sorts of great things in the guild! The first post will be mostly ranting, and people, please, if you disagree with me? Tell me why! I want to know your points of view! I want this thread to be as good as it can be, and what are Comic Fans if not lovers of debate over fictional worlds?!

So as January comes to a close Final Crisis has ended, leaving most of us scratching our heads going "huh?" and dreading a Batman-less world. By the way, if d**k Greyson doesn't win the Cowl? There is no justice in the fictional world. There were several big "events" this Crisis has given us, and one is the return of Barry Allen. For those of us born after 1985 apparently we're supposed to be excited for the return of a character that none of us grew up with taking over the mantle of Flash. I'm jumping for joy. Really. I totally am. Look, I'm sure for the fans of the olden days this is amazing, and while I appreciate those days, I honestly can't bring myself to be excited over the fact that Wally West is going to be put in second place just so we can bring in an old character.

If we're gonna bring people back from the dead? Lets start with Bart and Duela Dent first! Then I guess we can bring in Super Boy if not for the sheer fact I'd love to see how he'd react knowing Tim and Cassie dated for a short time.

However, one thing that IS cool is that now the DCU is aware of, and can now even travel to, other places in the Multiverse. Super Man Corps any one? Owlman Vs. New Batman? Come on, this is gonna be sick!

Also, the big publishing event for this month was DC's "Faces of Evil" which I have to say...sucked. Now, don't get me wrong, the concept was good enough, and sounded awesome, but apparently sales have dive-bombed this month. Why you might ask? BECAUSE A LOT OF PEOPLE COULDN'T EVEN FIND THEIR FAVORITE SERIES! Now having covers drawn by Alex Ross is never, ever, eevvveeerr a bad idea. The man is a king among men, and if you don't agree, go read "Kingdom Come" and try defending your point of view!

But when you have nothing but a black cover with the villain's name plastered OVER a grayed-out title? That's just a stupid idea. Even more so when you have characters that aren't even regulars in the series on the damn cover. When I'm looking for my monthly Booster Gold fix, I'm certainly not looking for a damn WWII Nazi behind the wheel of a plane.

Yeah, I gotta agree, this month's Booster was great even if the cover was WTFUGLY. My personal favorite? Batman. Batman's was kind of funm and I'm a huge fan of Catwoman any way, so a Catwoman heavy comic was win.

Final Crisis?! Never heard of it. But you say Batmans dead? How can that be?!?! There is no world if Batman is dead!!!! How did he die? Is he really dead?
