Games and contests are fun and not every game needs to be a CONTEST with a prize and such. BUT if you say you will give a prize for something... FOLLOW THROUGH.

Hosting something? Playing Judge? Announce a winner.

Make sure you give out that prize.

Not coming through on things like that IS grounds for a banning from guild.

SCAMMING someone with one of these and you won't just be banned, you will be reported to a GAIA Mod. Not a GUILD mod... a Gaia one. That kind of stuff is NOT okay.

Sorry it took so long for me to post this ... I misunderstood and thought it was like for RL dog contests or something.

Yes, and it was here in The Pets and Animals Games and Contests forum. The Amazing maddoggy555 held a contest beginning on January 18, 2009 called "most animals on", with the promise of a prize to the winner within a month. She got at least 3 contestants, but never judged the contest or annouced a winner. The last time she posted in that thread was Jan. 30th, and it appears that she is STILL a member of The Pets and Animals Guild. I'd really hate to see her banned, but I strongly believe she should follow through with her contest.
