Hello this forum is for people who LOVE the inheritance cycle. If you've read the books you can say what ever you like, but the movie is another question. Bottom line that movie was terrible no arguments dont try to convince me otherwise. But other than that have fun say what you like about the series what you hate or even something random just have fun

I honestly don't think the series is that great. They're okay, but Brisingr was really boring. I think the third book in most series is boring... You should read the Pellinor series 3nodding Those are good. Watch out for the third book though.

I love it and can't wait for the fourth book. You're right, the movie was terrible when compared to the book...

@Gwyndor: Maximum Ride is amazing, but the last book wasn't was great as the others...

I just want to say I agree that the Maximum Ride books are sooooooo coolio I read my first one which was like the third in the series in a leather chair setting at Target and then bought them all!!!!!!
As far as the Inheritance series goes I tried REALLY hard to read the third one but it was much to slow for me and I can read a twilight book or harry potter book in one sitting in a few hours so it had to be worse for slower readers. I think I'll try again though now that I've posted this. P.S. The movie SUCKED!!!!! heart

Can the people in this guild actually stay on topic? just a random question. I loved all three of the books, though I do admit that Brisinger is a bit slow at times. does anyone want to comment?

Oh, about the movie, my friend and I wrote this really REALLY REALLY LONG essay on everything the movie people got wrong. Then we mailed it to the directer via PO box. We didn't feel we should give him our addresses. blaugh

I love these books!
All of them are great and the world that Christopher Paolini created for it is awesome.

The movie smelled though. I can't believe they released that piece of s**t. I mean they left no room for the sequel to fit in. Also did anyone notice that there were no dwarfs?

heart heart I must admit that those books were AWESOME!!! I agree Brisingr was kinda slow, but I still loved it!!! Also... THE AUTHOR MUST LEARN TO WRITE FASTER!!!!!! heart heart

Ps. The movie was okay for anyone who didn't read the book, but if you did it was just like: ...What the hell, man?!?!

I loved the whole series, I have read Eragon eight times because it inspires me as a young writer.
I love how Christopher wrote it at such a young age, and it was still good.

so i must say that its not the best series i've read but it certainly isn't the worst the writing is good but i think there isn't enough action and i would fall asleep trying to read some parts of the books because they were just so boring but overall i think i would recommend reading it anyway.

however! the movie was an absolute insult! i know that the books are always better then the movies but i mean come on! the character Eragon was completely played down he was made out to be much weaker and more stupid then he really is in the book and Arya was not half of what i would have expected to be in the movie and the progression of Saphira! they made it seem like she grew in a day and learned all of a sudden to speak. if i was the author i would be insulted at the portrayal of my characters in such a shabby way in fact i think i would have to say i am insulted for the author

I liked the first two in the series, but in Brisingr, they got rid of a couple of my fave characters. And yes, the person who directed the movie, needs to be shot by an angry book fan of Christopher Paolini.
