Okay, the day after our christmas concert, we had school. So, we watched the video recording of the concert. On a jazz peice we played, the first trumpet section goes up to high g's. Well, one of our first trumpets couldnt show up. Another two couldnt play that high, and the one next to me that could play that high was conducting the song! So, I blasted for the whole section. XP Well, I think I made it a bit to obvious because everytime we played that high you heard me playing over the whole band...
Everybody knew it was me... It wasnt the first time I've played that loud, just not at a concert before.

that sucks. i had to cover for a sick second trumpet player. i had to sight read it. it was really hard.

My band director in highschool always told me to tone it down when i played. Unless i was playing a solo which happened alot in jazzband.

I can hardly handle a video of me playing when you can't hear me. lol Its just, when your parents zoom in on you playing. I always go red watching it.
