Yes, this is another Manga/Anime.
And I do have to say it's a long one at that xD
The anime series Case Closed has over 650 something episodes and the manga series, Detective Conan, has over 65 volumes and over 750 something chapters, and I'm only on Volume.. nine I think xP
But anyways, has anyone ever heard of, seen or read this series?
If you're a mystery fan I can say you will love this. The mysteries are quite challenging and they get me almost every time, even the clues left accidentally by the murderers never help xD.
But this is just me.
But, if you haven't heard of this series...
It's about a teenage detective named Kudo Shinichi (in the English Anime his name is Jimmy Kudo) who is a modern age Sherlock Holmes. His father writes mystery novels which inspired him to become a detective. But in the first episode, he comes across two shady guys in black making a deal with a big business man, and he gets caught spying on them. One of the guys in black feeds him this poison (while he's knocked out) that['s supposed to not be detected by autopsies. But, not knowing the true effects of the poison, they leave Shinichi's body behind. He wakes up around cops that found his body, and he finds out that the poison shrunk his body to the size of a first grader. So he takes the Surname (I think that's the right word) of Edigawa Conan, a name he made up to trick his childhood friend Ran (pronounced Rahn, in the Ainme her name is Rachel). The only one who knows his secret is the Professor that lives across the street from where he lived as Kudo Shinichi, Professor Agasa. The Professor develops all kinds of gadgets for Shinichi, so when he finds out who the murder or person who commited a crime is, he can take them down. Anyways, the storyline, after explaining all that is, Shinichi now has to live a fake life as Edigawa Conan, where he lives at Ran's house. Her Father is a detective, and he helps Ran's father become a famous detective in hopes to find the "Men in Black" who shrunk down his body...
Phew, I don't expect anyone to read AND understand all of that.
Anyways, this is a very good murder/mystery manga, and I suggest it to anyone who would like to read or watch it.
