The History of 'The OLD Chatterbox'.
arrow arrow There are many many new users here everyday and sadly, none of them know the history behind this guild. So that's what I am here to tell you in this thread!
Okay then. When the guild was first created, it was called the "Captain Buffo Giggles Memorial Bridge Memorial Guild". It was owned by a girl named Arachibutyrophobia. Back then, there weren't very many members, but most of them were active and everybody knew each other. Names I remember are korikitsune0, XHikotsuX, SalokinX, Kouga-kun, Arachibutyrophobia (her name was different back then), some other people who's name escapes me right now, and of course, me. I am the only one that still posts here and knows everything about the history still.
Well, the guild then became very in-active and Arachibutyrophobia sold the guild to Hostile Fire, in which the name was called "The Kingdom of Literates". He was the owner for about 3 days, then sold the guild to a girl named Neuneu.
Neuneu then made the name "Literate Kingdom". In which she was a mod, I was a mod along with neuneu, Hostile Fire, and Ivy_Lynn. She had the guild for I think 2 or 3 weeks, then she decided to sell it back to Hostile Fire, and she stayed in the guild.
Then, Hostile Fire got the guild, changed the name, once again, to what it is now, "The OLD Chatterbox" So far, Hostile Fire I think has been the best owner of the guild. He has brought it to what it is today, along with the help of his mods. It's thanks to him, that most of the mods and active members here, are here.
When this guild was the Captain Buffo Giggles Memorial Bridge Memorial guild, I would have never thought it would be what it is today.
Yes, I am the longest active member here, and the person that holds the most posts here as well. With close to 3000 | 6900 10500 posts (updated: August 15, 2006) I most certainly am. This was the first guild I joined back in March.
EDIT: In January 2006, Hostile Fire gave the guild to a member named Kaier01. Which, yes, is me. biggrin I changed my name cause I don't like numbers on names. Hostile was no longer active due to the fact he was a mod in the LSG (Literate Spam Guild) and had duties there. I promise to be a great captain for as long as I am here on Gaia, for this guild is my home. smile
Also, in january, Xous was picked by me, kai, to be the Vice Captain of the guild. For his great loyalty to the guild, and it's members, and the trust I had in him. smile
