They truly are a beautiful band~ even more beautiful in person! (Saw them at A-Kon 19. At the Q&A I was actually so 'stunned' by their beauty that I didn't seem to have the mind power to get a high-five from one of the members as they were leaving the room gonk I didn't know that could happen to me!). Though I'm not a huge fan of their music, it's still enjoyable to listen to once in a while ^^

They actually had to change their name about a month ago to Versailles Philharmonic Quintet b/c some crappy American band had the name Versailles. But they just re-released their new album 'Noble' under the new name.
It's an amazing album!

lol Band made for lolitas? I think not.
They have their collaboration with BABY but that's about it. They're not really the first jrock band with heavy Rococo influences.

I have to agree completely. Plus not everyone likes them, I know a lot of lolitas that like how they dress but dislike their music

No, they made plans to change the name for their official U.S. debut in August 2008 after realizing that due to U.S. copyright laws, another band already owns the rights to market themselves under that name. It was swell of you to call a band you've most likely never heard of "crappy" just for daring to have existed first, though. rolleyes
