So from about 9:30 to 3:00 ish, I cleaned the hell out of my room. It was just an unholy mess and it was getting hard to move around or find anything. Add in Christmas present mess and I was about to go nuts. So I did a head-to-toe, floor-to-ceiling redo of my room, with my dressers, my closet, the drawers, and the floor all getting attacked by the clean bug. And now, I figure, why should I stop there? My parents are out seeing Marley & Me with my aunt, and they're probably going out to dinner afterwards, which means I've got the house all to myself, pretty much. Dog's here, but he's not the one who could be parked in front of a computer for three hours gazing mindlessly at words and pictures on a screen instead of doing chores. No, I'm gonna butter my parents up and see if I can't get some cashola outta them. I'm gonna clean the showers, put some laundry in, and write thank-you notes. Hey, Otakon might be in July, but hell if I'm not gonna have at least a thousand bucks saved. It'll be my first anime con after turning 18, which means I can buy a helluva lot more stuff. And if Emi comes to a yaoi booth with me, I'll end up buying her some too, I bet. So I'm probably gonna need a ton of money. With something like that hanging over my head, it's never too early to start saving.

Yep... It'll work out. I'm sure. And maybe this'll lead to me being more productive in general. I sure hope so. I feel accomplished right now, having done a helluva lot of cleaning today.
