I think this might tell us a lot about each other, so...What songs do you listen to when you want to relax, and what songs do you listen to when you want to be filled with energy?

I think that music has to do with your soul. I mean if you are listening to a song that has to do with DEATH AND KILLING OTHERS you tend to get angery and maybe a bit rowdy! mrgreen *ahem* i wouldnt know of course.

I listen to Kenny G on the clarinet, or other soothing instrumental songs, when I want to relax. I listen to techno and pop when I want to dance and feel energized. If I just want to be in a happy mood then I listen to upbeat Disney songs. whee

I guess my mood depends on what I listen to. If I'm in a bad mood or mad I listen to rock. Some moods change depending on what I listen to. Sometimes I just want to listen to songs. Music doesn't always have to do with my mood. Most of the time it does though.

If i'm in a sad mood a listen to the song "Krazy" by Pitbull. It's so energetic!! I just want to jump up and start dancing like a wierdo. "Now jump let's get crazy!!" (That's probably the only line I know of that song) xD

Hmmm...when I want to relax, either something by Kojiki or the Chrono Cross Sound track. So far as energy goes hmm...Caramelladansen, they call me sonic, and Best Friend by Toybox.

I do believe that music affects your mood....so, if l'm sad or angry, l tend to try to pick the opposite to help me get out of that mood smile
But if l'm cleaning or exercising, l need quick, upbeat, dance-like and happy type music to keep that mood going smile
So l guess what l think is,...music can help change my mood or keep it going, as the case may be smile

When I am some-what angry, I listen to piano music to calm down and when I want to relax or concentrate on something, I listen to piano music!
When I just listen to music, its usually 80s rock, or Harry Potter music! I would have to agree that music shows your personality and it can influence your mood.

When I am upset, I have a whole playlist on my iPod of... even sadder songs haha. I am a bit strange, I know. One song that isn't sadder that really always makes me feel better is "Bad Day" by Daniel Powter. ")
If I am angry, I listen to Taylor Swift. Her songs (well a few of them) are bubbly. For example, "Our Song", "Should've said No" (Even if it's not happy, it's quite fun to dance to.), "Dear Stephen", "Fearless", and I love "Mary's Song (Oh My My My)!" smile
If I want to be hyper and ...energy-filled (?) then I also listen to upbeat teenage disney artist. Like there is this one song by Selena Gomez on the Tinkerbell CD. smile Oh and the top 40 is always something fun to dance to.

typically I can listen to anything, though I prefer music from musicals like Wicked or Phantom of the Opera. I also love classical, like Motzart biggrin
