Evolving items

I got an evolving item that is no longer in the cash shop. Will it evolve if I wear it for long enough? How can you tell how evolved the item is? Does the evolutionary number go up or down?

You don't have to wear it for it to evolve, and yes, it will evolve. One way to tell how evolved your item is is by looking it up on tektek's Items List. There will be a box in the item's entry with a link to the evolution cycle. That will show you the poses in each phase of evolution. And the gen number never changes 3nodding

I was also curious about this and i found out, that the name of the item always stays the same. It doesn't matter which gen you have, it'll still evolve to it's final form sooner or later (even after it was removed from cash shop). Usually the evolve the same time, as "active" EIs (still in CS). This is usually a friday.
