Alright lets get one started. anyone got some ideas or want to get a group going??

I have a bitchin' idea for a Future Titans RP if any one would be interested.

Though it does require that your character isn't a Legacy (as in you can't be the 10th Robin or the offspring of Raven/Beast Boy or Jericho's long lost brother), so I'm not sure how well that'd fly...

Well, here's the plot I have so far.


Its twenty years into the future. The world is a different place. Not worst and not that much better, but somehow...different. The Final Crisis had changed most things, but the ripple effect of all that seemed to have died down. At least on the surface.

The Titans tower still stands in the bay of San Fransisco, a monument to the young heroes who grew into the world's current Guardians, and also to those who gave their lives in the name of Justice.

There was an incident about fifteen years ago. In it, the demon lord Trigon returned to earth one final time in an attempt to destroy it yet again. During the struggle, two young Heroes sacrificed their lives to stop him. They were Raven and Wonder Girl.

After that, Batman, at least the man who calls himself Batman today, disbanded the team. Legacy heroes, such as Blue Beetle and Miss Martian, found themselves in the company of the Justice Society of America. Every one else just kind of went their seperate ways...Until now.

Donna Troy, seeing an upheaval in teenaged super-heroes with no sense of guidance, walking the line between criminal and anti-hero, decided to team up with her old friend Cyborg to fix up and reopen the tower.

Now, the Titans live again!

Well, I would prefer to see characters that are original and stuff and that are not legacies. I can see DCU characters showing up, but only for minor roles. Also, literacy would be nice.

If you want to start making your character, sure, but I do have a few rules. I plan on making a thread or two exclusively for this RP so we're not hogging the whole planning thread.

The Rules:

-Your character should be in their Teenage years. This means I don't want to see any 8 year old's running about nor do I want to see any 20 some things. HOWEVER, if you want a minor character to be older, that would be acceptable. Also acceptable is your character having a younger brother/sister/cousin/whatever who showed up once or twice.

-Any OMGHAX characters will not be allowed to join the RP. A Kryptonian is fine, but a Kryptonian who doesn't need sun-light and isn't affected by Kryptonite? Yeah no.

-Your character's backstory should fit into the DC Cannon. No X-men mutants, no offspring from characters that have never met or could never have kids, no Watchmen characters, no long-lost sibling, no Red Son characters...Need I go on?

-A fleshed out character is MANDATORY. Full back-story. Period. I will not accept any "will be shown through story" or "unknown". That's lazy and you know it.

-Did your character make a deal with a resurrected Neron? Are they from Earth-159? An alien? That's fine: If it COULD happen in the DCU, its acceptable! While I'll admit I'm being a bit of a stickler, I will accept some variations from the main DCU for the simple fact its 20 years into the future and things are bound to change.

As far as powers go, I'm pretty open as long as its not OMG hax. Plant powers? Go for it. Ability to turn CDs into bombs? Knock yourself out. Power to make fat-free potato chips taste good? Do it!
