Ahem.
I have been charged with the burden honor of creating this "OOC" thread for the wonderful role play, Shattering Fayth, for two purposes:
1. To advertise the role play.
2. To up my post count.
2. To provide a place for those participating in the role play to have a pleasant little green room to connect, blog, spam, talk...or whatever they feel like. Also, it provides a convenient place for the role players to discuss ideas for the plotline as well as making announcements.
Now…onto advertising 8D
Shattering Fayth is a Final Fantasy X role play, taking place before FFX-2, and post destruction of Kilika. Currently, everyone is congregating in the multicultural city of Luca, just in time for the blitzball tournament to begin.

SilentBreeze90 ((I hate to do this now, since we just got started, but I don't have time for a real post right now, and I will probably be MIA until Saturday, since I’ve got a final tomorrow and another on Friday. So you can assume my player is playing blitzball in the tournament until then.))
For the first blitzball game, would you like "Kai" to play a game against a random other team...or would you like her to play Dylan's team?
Either way is fine with me biggrin Just thought it would be an interesting way to get introduced.

lol, you're so mean to yourself.
hmm... well, i was thinking they'd meet over a game, but maybe not the first game, since we don't really want either of them to lose the tournament so early, y'know? So maybe the second or third game? And they'll just have to narrowly miss meeting each other until then...

Wait, sorry if this is a kind of dumb question, but it's late so excuse any dumbness on my part. Do we roll the dice if we're not playing against someone who's in the rp? or can we just tailor the game however we please since the other team wouldn't actually be important to the story? Cause you included NPCs, but also specified other characters players...

xD And your question's not dumb.
I think it's perfectly fine if we tailor the games against NPC's...especially since we want both Kai's and Dylan's team to win their first games so that they can play each other.
So...after both their first games, they can play each other...since dragging on a blitzball game might make Nava and Olivia bored.
That reasonable? :0

Okay, that's completely fine with me, I just wanted to get that cleared up before I considered writing up a post for the first game. So they'll meet in their second game then, and everything will work itself out. Okay, I'm good.

Well...admittedly, opening it up to the whole guild might be more interesting...but then I'd have to go ask the admin and all that...and I'm afeared o.o;
So, probably just the role play. Maybe a word count contest, or...post count...or something o_O Maybe for active-ness on this OOC board or something. I don't know yet. Any suggestions?

Anyways, yeah, don't be afraid to talk to them. I was when I was new, but I'm kind of not anymore, but still am a little.. Yes, anyway, going to end my ramble now.

Hm... Well, if it's only for this rp, then we could do a short story contest of some type. Like, a short story from one of the other character's pasts. That would make it interesting, to see what people can come up with from the personalities and histories of the other characters to come up with a story about them.
Um.. or... I dunno, art would be the most normal, but I hate drawing people so... yeah... I wouldn't participate in that one... but it could work...
Or... you could have... Well, we couldn't have a banner contest, cause we don't really need a banner, since its within the guild... but it could be... like some kind of trivia or puzzle game...
Ok, that's it... I'm all out of ideas...

Not to say we're not good writers, but she's like 'BAM~La la la...' with awesomeness. 8o
And if we did art, I wouldn't be able to participate, I don't think...
