Now that the code writers of gaia have fixed this exploit on the main forums I can safely share this trick with the pubic.

It used to work better then it does now though. The reason why it still works for guilds at all is because the main forums and the guilds have different coding with the main forums having newer stuff while guilds are relatively untouched.

Anyways, here's the trick.

You take a quote from someone.

Omnileech

Sanzo's dog is icky

And then add exactly one extra quote to the name.

Sanzo's dog is icky

Which completely trashes the page on the thread.

So.... did anyone know of this? It's been around for well over a year.

Doing it more than once ruins the page more. Putting quote tags in different places gives differing results.

That's insane! ^_^ I love finding glitches in seemingly perfect operation. Not that Gaia seems perfect by any means, but it's still cool.

I wish I understood the HTML coding and all that technical mumbo jumbo. I feel very internet illiterate.
