In fact, I think you'll find it's spelled コンガ. I realize the urge to spell it with a カ is because katakana is mostly phonetic and in some places in America, due to various accents, conga is pronounced as though the co is a ca, but that is not actually the correct pronunciation (as it were). Also, there are official katakana spellings for almost everything, which, believe me, can be vastly frustrating. : D
