Noctowl swooped in behind Mewtwo and attempted a Wing Attack, but he was deflected by Mewtwo's Barrier. Then Butterfree flew above the plane and started to discharge PoisonPowder onto Mewtwo. Mewtwo was angered; he was hit with the powder, and started slowly taking damage. The pilot then noticed the two birds and sped up to get away from them while also barrel rolling because the pilot discovered the presence atop the plane, but did not know what it was. Mewtwo used Recover while falling but continued to take damage from the poison. He used his Psychic ability to slow his fall and land on the ground, where Espeon was waiting. She attempted to Confuse him, but he Confused her back and proceeded to harm her with Psychic while she hurt herself. "That's enough," Isaac told Mewtwo telepathically, while returning him to his Pokeball. "I told you to only work defensively today, your offensive skills are fine. You need to learn to obey me better." He then also returned Noctowl and Butterfree to their Pokeballs, complimenting their work. Espeon came running back to Isaac, still slightly confused. "You did a good job, too, Espeon, sorry about Mewtwo, I'm sure you would have done fine if you knew he was going to attack back," he said, petting her head. "Let's get to a center." The Reko center was still closed, so he decided they would have to find another one, and he returned Espeon to her Pokeball.
