If not, why?
If so, what are your plans? Have you a costume yet, or at least made a decision on a look?
I was thinking about dressing as a Bollywood actress, but I was too worried that it might offend actual Indians, especially since I'm not the least bit Indian.
I have another idea to dress as a zombie or a corpse, but so far I haven't seen any good enough costumes for it.
Today I was with my mom at Walgreens and I saw the coolest costume for a sorceress! By that, I mean the picture. It was awesome and I could have totally jazzed it up. The actual garment was gone or I would have gotten it. There was only one! gonk
So, I plan to do something for Halloween, but so far I'm not having much luck with costumes.

I'll join in the Gaia event for sure, but Halloween isn't very big over here, so I haven't made any plans. I'd love to see photos of everyone's costumes!

I haven't worn a Halloween costume since I was a kid. I think I just grew out of it.

My brother has decided that he's having a party - you have to dress up to come though the door. I have a witches hat...so I'm going as a witch.

Other than possibly for work (child care at a school) I don't plan to do anything at all. I never liked Halloween redface I think with work though the other staff and I are going to be mad scientist. Still trying to decide what to do with my hair...it's really long right now but I may cut it (not sure how much) soon.

Isn't being a college/university student scary enough?! xd Seriously though, I haven't a clue as to what I'm doing. I doubt I'll get too dressed up since one, I don't like Halloween; two, I'll be home and only getting out to go to the grocery store; three, I MIGHT have to go to church (I don't remember if November 1st is a holy day of obligation this year or not). I'll probably wear my orange sweatshirt that has black cats, jack o'lanterns and other halloween-y stuff on it with my dark black jeans; if it's warm I have a black T-Shirt with two teddy bears dressed up for halloween and it just says "Happy Halloween" on it.
I would like to dress up if I had the time and money to for real; I'd probably go as a pirate or something...never did get into it until I was much older and then it was "too late" by most people's opinion around here.
I will participate on Gaia and I have at least 2 or 3 really good ideas for costumes. Not saying much else...don't wanna give away my costumes (Just wait and see). wink

I'll probably throw together a little something to wear for when the trick-or-treaters come by. I'm thinking of dressing as Super Mario! I already have a pair of overalls I could use. Haha. Also, my workplace has a costume contest, but if last year is any indication, funny wins out over well-made (which breaks my little cosplayer heart! I worked hard on that ninja costume, dammit! Only to lose to a guy dressed as a redneck, with a fake beer gut.)

I always dress up for Halloween! It's one of the things that I look forward to every year. smile Luckily every place I've work at has even allowed employee to wear costumes to work, which I just love to be able to do. It's just to much fun to pass up.
I already bought my costume for this year: a western style saloon girl, complete with feathered hat thing. I'm so excited for it! xd
I have a friend who lives about 8 hours away coming up for this Halloween, too, so it's even more exciting then usual. We're trying to make plans to do to a local amusement park's fright fest...once again in costume.
I really, really, REALLY can't wait. biggrin

I'm (attempting) to throw a party at my apartment. Which naturally, if guild members are able to come down to southwest MO wink
I think I might go as mother nature this year.
I'm really hoping one of the guys from my class will come to my party-- not because I'm recently single and have bad ideas, but because he's from Nigeria and they don't really celebrate Halloween there (or if they do they call it something different and he didn't recognize the name). I think it would be neat to see someone have their first American Halloween.
I love dressing up- I'm theatrical like that... it's how this cookie crumbles baby. I'm not so big into spooky, but I'm big into fun, candy, costumes, and such. Also it's a holiday that while some people drink it's still major fun for those of us who don't drink. I find St. Patrick's Day boring because I don't drink.

i'm going down to my friends collage, there are a few partys me and the boyfriend have been invited to. I think he gets off work later though so first I get to scare small childern by handing out candy. Last year was Sweet, I was a Night fairy, with white makeup and black and purple outfit, wings and all, the cutest little girl told her parents that if mom let her be a fairy like then she would wear it cus she would be cool, ofcourse this same girl was a Dead cheerleader, Oh our youth has such potental.

Our neighborhood is chaotic and lots of fun with the tons of kids that are always out trick or treating. I'll be handing out the candy while my hubby takes our boys out begging for candy. Then later after they are in bed, I'll pick through it from a couple of things I like. smile

I have to figure out a good Gaia Halloween costume. O.O That's going to be an interesting one.
As for in real life, I'm making a pink flamingo costume out of a pink sweatshirt and orange pants and some other things. It should be pretty fun. biggrin
