well, i officially have no internet. and even if i had internet, my computer died. luckily, i'm fairly close to my brother's house, which has internet. so i'll be on, just not as often. just thought i'd let you all know.
EDIT: well, since this topic had no replies, the subject apparently confused people. xd
i still have no internet, but am able to get on occasionally at my brother's still. i'm looking a laptop, and my brother said that i'd be able to use their net for a small monthly fee. i'll keep you all posted.

Good luck with the internet-thing! I know how hard it can be to not have it when you're so used to having it. 3nodding I was like that for the first few months down in Lawrence with Steven until my dad let me use his then-new laptop. blaugh It was nice to finally be connected once again.

That must be tough! I've become so used to using the internet for everything, I don't know WHAT I'd do without it! Good luck getting it sorted mate!

I don't think you should take the lack of replies personally. I have a feeling that people visit the forum...read, but not post often (ie we're old and tend to lurk more than we post).

The internet craze...it's another addiction...when chatrooms and aims first came out...it's like wohooo we can talk to complete strangers and it was addicting; now even if you're not into that anymore...the feel the need to just surf or play online games for free w/o actually paying a penny, yeah I'll be lost w/o internet. I rather have the internet for entertainment than tv, etc.
But good luck getting the net back....hopefully your computer didnt die from any viruses....Cuz I definitely know that feeling. The downside of internet, and how it breaks your personal belongings which otherswise would last for more than 20 years if it was well kept.

sad to hear, hope you will fix it soon.
i have no internet at my work now. just 2 days ago i had it, but yesterday they decited that we don´t need it anymore xp cause someone visited some sides that you don´t need at work.
ok, i used to go to gaia when i got nothing to do, but i wasn´t on everyday or the whole time, i always do my work first, but what to do when you have to wait 2hour until you get a new order?
i guess the son of my boss made some sh** like playing online games or looking youtube 21+ and they thaught someone of us did it.
it´s so silly now i can stare into space, when i finish my work too quick.
