Man, he's good at mimicking L. I kept wondering if it was either B or L through the whole thing. XD It was good though.

Except he wasn't mimicking L. He never saw L before in his life. He even states so in the book. B is just that similar to L on his own. The author did that to fool the reader.

Love the novel L.A.B.B. Murder Cases.
Beyond Birthday is one of my favorite characters, although he is not in the anime at all. He is still one of my many favorites ^_^

I enjoyed him just because he was so weird, I was a bit confused about whether he was L or earlier on because he was so similar in appearance. and he did have a lot of L's mannerisms, though I just had an inkling something was off. That and we never see L eat strawberry jam in the anime as much as B did, L usually had more variety to his treats. And I just realised another thing I should have noticed was that if the dish requires he eat with a utensil L uses the utensil, if I was going to eat straight strawberry jam I'd eat it with a spoon.

That and he had one of my favourite bits of dialogue with Naomi about being 'a top' I just stared at that bit reread it and then started cackling my head off.
