i wanna start playing the drums but i really want to play a drumset. But i wanted to know if it is better if I just started on a single snare first.

Start small by going on the snare drum, play some beats n the snare then once you get he hang of it
ad the trap and the hi-hat with it

I agree with The3_Hug3_Ph3nom94 i started off on the set, but i didnt have the choice to play snare.
go with the snare first, set is a bit more difficult...

se t rules but so does snare so starrt with snare and work your way up go set

Well, when I was eight, I started by playing the entire set. Now I'm twelve, almost thirteen, and I'm very good. It depends on if you naturally have a good beat and rythm. If you do, you should start with the entire set. If you don't you should should start with a snare. Good luck, and I hope you get good!
