Gothic is not simply a fashion, nor a music.
Gothic is a state of mind and a way of life.
There are not "types of Goth".
You are ether Gothic, or you are not.
What is Gothic?
Finding the beauty in the dark side of thing.
Detesting that which irritates you in any way.
Avoiding and hating the path of ignorance and stupidity that so many people take.
Wearing all black is not mandatory.
Listening to metal is not mandatory.
Putting on eyeliner is not mandatory.
Remember all of that.

We've heard this all before, but at the end of the day, goth has no singularly agreed upon definition.
