I know, I know. You read "Uzumaki" and you think Naruto, but no, I'm talking about the horror manga (maybe it's an anime too, maybe it's not) Uzumaki by Junji Ito. "Uzumaki" is translated to "spiral" in Japanese (or so I heard). The manga is about a girl named Kirie who lives in a strange town cursed by the spiral. The spiral curse starts by affecting small things like the clouds and the water, then moves on to making victims out of the town residents. I'm not going to tell you too much, but I just wanted to throw this out there. The creativity in this manga is amazing, but I don't want to look at another spiral ever again after reading it.
(please don't post pictures of spirals just to annoy me)

D: I found Uzumaki and Gyo boring and not creepy at all. I was hopeing for it to be amazing and I was so excited to get it. It really disapointed me. I give the author credit for the out of the norm stuff. but in my opionion it sucked.

A pretty sweet manga if you are looking for a good horrer. Just make sure you can keep a hold onto your lunch. Somethings are a bit disgusting hahaha.

I want to try it. I've already read the first chapter. For some reason, it made me think of a Higurashi/Elfen Lied combination. neutral
