I like your hair, it's really interesting. Don't tell me it grew that way? Also, is that embroidery down your garb? eek Real nice....
Yep, that's embroidery. I've been doing Celtic-style embroidery for about six years now and have 12 pieces of embroidered garb.
The hair is actually a wig that I found that has many, many braids. Since the literature tells us that Celtic women wore their hair in elaborate braids this seemed like a fun way to do it. And I thought the grey in it looked a bit as though it had been limed like the Celts were known to do.
