As we all know, every section in the band thinks of Pit as "The lazy people of the band" Because we don't have to march.

Since I'm in Pit, I hear everyone say that Pit is lazy, and since Pit kicks so much a**, I gave Pit the name "Lazy Beasts."

So one day, our band director said "You know what, Pit should bring fuzzy slippers to practice....Fuzzy slipers should be their practice uniform." lol
So I told him "Mr. Mounger, we should bring those slippers and on one slipper, it's say "Lazy" and the other slipper will say "Beasts," so when we lay ou legs out, people can see "Lazy Beasts!"

And for people that don't know what Pit pretty much does while they're suppose to practice, They finish whatever part they have touch up on the song, then they get the humongous bass drum mallets, and we start playing baseball with gatorade caps. Or play hacky sack, or play soccer around the courtyard.

well... i was in pit. I graduated from high school. I would always get mad when people would call us lazy. because we weren't. we had to carry stuff from place to place. one time we had to stand outside in the rain, with instruments waiting for someone to open up the locked doors. then when everyone went to go eat, I was stuck, along with the rest of the pit, getting the instruments dry. it took us a while since we had all the instruments out there in the rain. People that say that we are lazy tick me off.
