Maybe you can tell me!
Here are a few of the horrifyingly many pictures I have taken of my two cats!
This is Phedre, she is named after a character in a book series, the first book is called Kushiel's Dart... these books are for mature audiences, so don't say I didn't warn you! Phedre is the star-crossed lover of a man named Joscelin. But I won't say too much more about the book...if you wanna know more... go read it! We adopted Phedre from a local animal shelter:
And this is Joscelin (he is a boy). He is also named after a character is the Kushiel series but the character is a Cassiline Brother, which are warrior priests. They are traditionally clad is solid gray so I thought naming my solid gray cat after him would be cool! Joscelin came to my boyfriend and I as a stray... we found him in the hallway of our apartment building! I asked everyone around if they recognized him or he belonged to them, but the answer was a resounding no. So I took him in. When I took him to the vet, they said that Joscelin and Phedre might even be related as they share some of the same weird traits... Like they both have a dark spot in the middle of their tongues! They are even the same age!!:
