Well, I would.
1. you can always go back to trumpet. 2. Flute is an awesome instrument that I want to try someday soon. Ha.

i play the flute and it's the most pretty and peacful sounding (if u play it right) i think it would be harder than trumpet b/c the trumpet has 3 keys but the flute has, uh, a lot?! i say go for it! good luck! :]

Thats cool. I'm acutally a flute player who switched to trumpet. For me it was easy, well atleast with the higher notes. You might have trouble with the way you blow into the mouthpiece because its different. In the end, its up to you if you want a change. I can be fun trying out something new.

do it!
i went from flute to trumpet. a vise versa switch. it was a pretty difficult switch because I had no idea what buzzing meant. but going from trumpet TO flute might be easier. the fingerings might take awhile to learn, but blowing through it is pretty simple.
