For me, it would be Haku from Naruto. I really didn't want him to die... crying
I suppose it was for the best, with the plot of those few episodes and everything, but he was an awesome character, and it was such a shame to see him go...did I cry...no... sweatdrop

Fllay from Gundam SEED. I know she had to die so Kira could beat Rau but thing would have been interesting if she had lived. She found she really had feelings for Kira and Kira would be stuck between her and Lacus.
Meer in SEED Destiny, her death was a waste and her character had a lot of potential.

-L (Let's face it, for some of us, he was the ONLY reason we read Death Note)
-Mello (I miss choclate boy crying )
And, ironically, I don't even like Inuyasha or Death Note (but I have read them), And am getting sick of Naruto (Blame Sasuke-Sue)

Personally, some characters should die so the plot can progress...
Or the series can come to a good end.
Like Death Note.
Light needed to die. The series could have ended after L did.
But...Edward in FMA could have been handled a bit more carefully I think. But ah well.
