I have a Dwarf Hamster and he lost all his hair on his but. Does this mean he is dieing?

No, it just means he's getting old. Is he the only one you have? Have you tried giving it vitamins?

My hamster lost all it's fur and couldn't open one eye about a year or two after I got it, but it lived another year after that.

It depends upon how old the hamster is. It sounds like the hamster is old. They usually live for only an average of 2 years, though mine lived to 2 1/2 and 3.

My friend had a hamster that actually lived to be 6. Oldest hamster ive ever seen. Anyways, he never lost any of his fur. O.o xD I guess it depends on lack of vitamins or something.

I had an albino dwarf hampster that wasn't even 5 months old. he stoped eating and drinking and all he did was sleep. I would take him out and hold him and he would curl up and fall asleep in my hands. it's was pretty bad when he died in my hands... I was soooooo upset.

I know the feeling...I had an albino female dwarf hamster who died of a heat stroke, right in my hands...it crushed me badly since I was bonding with her.
