It's an anime series, with DVDs that are gonna be put out by Bandai. :3 It's an amazing series done by the same cast and crew of FLCL. The basic premise is a coming of age story for a young boy named Simon, who previously spent his life digging tunnels until a man named Kamina taught him to look to the sky. Epic robot fights for the win. :3 http://www.gurren-lagann-movie.net/gurrepala/interview/flash.htmlI was given this link by a friend. :3 The artists and stuff basically decided to make AMVs every week of TTGL with the characters in different themed genres. I guess they decided to go with medieval fairy tale. It's pretty epic. <3 Anyway, check it out. Also, feel free to discuss the epic that is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

Wait a sec, are they really finally airing it in america? Hahahahah, took em long enough. I might check it out to see how the voice acting was translated, but as for watching the whole thing over again, I'll probably wait a bit longer till I forget alot more about it to do that lol.... Plus I have all the ep.s downloaded onto my computer, so tis all good lol... well they're downloaded along with about a billion other series hah.

And I bought ep. 1 - 4 for my ipod. : ) Do they have it on DVD? Dunno if it has simply taken me too long to reply to this, but... Right now, the first 18 episodes are available on DVD, subtitled-only, in two 2-disc volumes. The third and final volume comes out September 2nd. It's possible that they'll do a second round of releases with the dub, if you prefer that, although I can't find any evidence that this will be happening.
