Sorry beforehand if this isn't the place to put it, been awhile since I've been on this guild. sweatdrop
Anyways, I was just remembering the last day in art class how we got onto this topic of stuff that we used to/still collect and the usual things came out (stamps, coins, cards, etc). One person said how they collected teapots. So I was beginning to wonder what else that you guys collected that wasn't the usual things.
As for myself, I have a slight obsession with blades and so I've got a few displayed in my room as well as dragon figures.

It isn't very odd what i collect but I still collect YU-GI-OH cards
and I also collect tons and tons of yaoi manga! wahmbulance
I also finished the whole entire set of Sailormoon manga as well! (they are really old and its hard to get them anymore lol) mrgreen

This is going to sound rather like I'm trying too hard, but...
I have a collection of broken china dolls. I found them while cleaning one of the attics and they looked so sad in the box I put up a shelf in my room so I could talk to them.

I'd like to have a small collection of bones some day, human and non. Bones are fascinating.

Shadow`s Enigma As for myself, I have a slight obsession with blades and so I've got a few displayed in my room. This is actually more common than a lot of people think it is. Not as common as collecting coins, stamps, decorative spoons, thimbles, etc. but the practice is becoming more common. I've been to more than a few gift shops that now carry souvenir daggers of various sizes, and more and more online specialty shops for blade replicas are popping up. Not that I'm trying to delegitimize your collection, or anything of the sort. It's still not common practice, and many people who collect such blades are collecting no much more random low-quality mold-poured nickel knives. The fact you actually display them sounds like you're more than just some fantasy nerd picking up overpriced Lord of the Rings bootlegs.

None too uncommon as collectibles, I suppose, but none too common either.

I collect little coffins. Some are really small, others are, say, 25cm long. I love my coffins!
I also collect MetCards-
No idea why. I've been collecting them for years.

I kinda collect those :3
People give them to me, and then I make up names and a family tree for them. I arrange them on some steps we don't use, each step (or two if it's a large group) being a generation.
They usualy get thrown away by someone once I get to the sixth generation, but I still try. DDX
I really just collect tiny things in general, but it's more like a hoarding squirrel than a collection. >___>
Tiny bottles, tiny boxes, tiny paint tubes, tiny paperclips.
The list goes on.

sometimes i like to to collect dust & ashes, recently i got a collection of pull tabs off of pop cans. sometimes i collect found objects, scrap metal, safety pins, ect.

i collects:
-pins w/ funny sayings
-those rectangular keychains w/ the funny sayings
-yarn, string, and that plastic "gimpy string"
-manga
-trading cards (i'm talking pokemon, yugioh, etc)
-pens
-cds and videogames
-beads
-anime posters/tshirts/plushies/etc.
i'm a nerd. i have so many different collects going on that i don't even remember them all, but the keychain collection is probably my best.

For a while I collected obsolete computers and video game systems from the 70's and 80's. They take up a lot of room though.
