Happy Loliday!! heart
There was talk of the Austin area lolitas getting together, but nothing was ever officially put together. Curses. D:
However, now that I have my sewing machine back, I shall spend the day sewing, working on patterns (namely yours wink ), and drinking tea. I'll be going out to a (non lolita) event tonight, and most likely dressing in my frills.
....But none of that is really out of the ordinary for me.

Maybe to celebrate, I shall do a little bit of sewing tonight. Probably mainly on my JRock outfit thing. And, maybe I'll have some tea, too.

Happy lolita day~
My friends and I were going to a meetup, but we got there late and couldn't find the girls, we searched for an hour and a half in over 100 degree weather before we finally turned around and went home. Then I was left alone with nothing to do for a few hours. Ick.

I didn't even know it was Loliday until halfway through the day buttt...
I got my frist Brand JSK (Meta 2007 speical set yo) in the mail today!!!! I was so happy I put it on right away!!! ^_^
I really wish I could have hung out with my only friend who dresses lolita...but she lives in Texas (we go to college together...summer vacation)

I love that special set, by the way. I was very sad that I couldn't order it when it came out--I did buy the winter one recently off of an auction, though, which I'd been dying to have since it came out. haha
Also, where does your friend live in Texas? I'm a Houston lolita myself and Cryrin is in Austin. (:

Yeah, first Saturdays of June and December. Though those in the Southern Hemisphere takes pictures and s**t in June anyways, so I don't really consider the December date so much.

Today I got dressed in Lolita and sat at my sewing machine to make clothes for my two lovely Bobobie Dollfies that arrived yesterday but my fiance didn't bring to me me until today. It was calm and peaceful even though I should have sewed my parfait and cake skirts

me and my friend had a guro/shiro photoshoot the day after, but I think it still counts. we started out having tea at Starbuck's and took lots of pictures between there and her house. whee It was so much fun and the mgt. at Starbuck's was very nice to us. heart
I will try to post pics later. wink

Unfortunately, there were so many meet-up posts on EGL for loliday that I lost track of them all. I saw at least a dozen from all over the world including Peru, Singapore, various cities in the USA, Australia, Europe and even the UK. Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun, though, and a lot of people posted photos on Daily Lolita of their outfits, too. (:
