Have any of you seen it/do you own it? My friend got one the other day. It's so amazing! It's kinda like a rifle, but it's made of indestructable plastic. It's kinda like the outline of a rifle (it is not "filled in", you can see through it). It's on bandshoppe.com (go to guard equipment). What do you think of it?
Personally, I think it's easy to twirl and looks better in motion than it does stationary. I love it!

Sure, it's lightweight, but it doesn't actually LOOK like a rifle, which is the whole point of the replacements.

We call it a cross between a rifle and a saber. It's hard to describe really. It's not meant to replace the rifle I don't think, I think it's just another piece of equipment to add to a show.

The one that we were playing with was heavier than our normal rifles. I personally didn't like it that much, but we only fiddled with it for a few minutes. If we do end up using them in our show, we're going to strap bells on the insides.
Other than that, I don't quite like it shape; it reminds me too much of a windshield wiper 3nodding
Hahahaha, when my coach brought it in, he was like, supposedly this thing is indestructable, but I'm sure it won't be when you guys get through with it.
That was because we broke some "indestructable" sabres last season XD

I personaly think there a waist ide rather have a kick butt saber solo then one or two people with airblades (im a saber freak btw smile )

I just went and looked at it. Based on looks, I don't think I'd like it. But if I ever got to spin it my mind might change. However, as of now, I prefer my saber.
