WOO! The Descendents! There. . .are a limited selection to what they can be. Mostly humans and humanoids, that's for sure!
Also, there are two special kinds of Descendents, known as an Angel or a Demon. However, due to the war, there are only a limited number of Angels and Demons.
You can have a Descendent without a Guardian, but they must find a Guardian before their fifth battle, 'else it's an automatic DIEDIEDIE thing.

Personality - He's caring and kind, and he's especially cheery when he's around people he's comfortable with. However, he does have his negative traits, such as being extremely stubborn when he sets his mind on things. He's also suspicious and harsh on people he doesn't know or trust.
Biography - Alex is untrusting towards people mainly because of his childhood. He was given away at the age of four to a human man who treated him like slave, using him for any purpose to get money. Any. Daniel saved him once from pure torture, though, and since then, he learned more about himself and worked on regaining his happy self. He hasn't been completely successful, but he's a lot better than he used to be.
Powers - He can control anything remotely related to the wind, what with being an Angel of Wind.

Personality - Amy's a pretty happy, hyper girl. There's not a moment where she's resting, so it seems like she doesn't sleep. However, get on her wrong side and she turns into an aggressive person that could quite easily turn you into a piece of meat on a stick.
Biography - For the most part, Amy lived a normal life with her two angel parents, practicing her flying and powers with her father and learning home skills from her mother. But one day, her parents were called into the army to fight against the demons, and they never came back. She met Alex and Daniel one day in the training area, and at first, she was one of the angels who teased him the most. But over time, she learned of what happened to him and since then, she's been nothing but a little sister to him.
Powers - Any control over ice, but she's not nearly as powerful as the elemental.

Personality - Kind, Gentle, and often motherly. She's also a a great leader and treats all of her angel subordinates, as well as the humans, as if they were her own children.
Biography - Mika is as old as the Guardian system, for she was one of the people to help create it. However, when the Angel of Wind was brutally murdered by the demons, she not only went on a rampage out for revenge, but she also ended up destroying a good portion of the demons and their home, as well as some human cities. It was because of this that she vanished, residing in the Angel Realm until there comes a time where she can be forgiven for her sins.
Powers - Anything to do with light magic, as well as being able to fly and heal.

Other Info - She's rather overprotective of her "children", and she's more than a capable fighter. Also, she usually has a faint glow around her form.

Personality - She's generally a nice person, though a bit stubborn. She doesn't really listen to people and she doesn't like beng told what to do. Sometimes she's quiet, but most of the time she's pretty talkitave, and rather than looking straight at people, she looks at the sky or ground a lot.
Biography - Yuki didn't have much of a childhood. She was pretty much always working on something whether it be mechanics or cleaning the house. She lived with her twin sister for a while, but then her sister moved out to go her own way. Or something. A year after her sister moved out, she died in a house fire that happened while Yukiko was visiting. Yukiko's back and right arm were burned.
Powers - Healing, elements, animal communication, and weird. . . . magic. . . . . stuff?

Weapon of Choice - A ten foot tall sword the she made herself that weighs possibly 100+ lbs. Nubudy knooows.

Biography - Kuro was always a cold child. She never cried, and when she laughed, it always sounded eerie. Her glare feels colder than ice and her eyes show no emotion. She hardly ever talked to her parents no matter how much they tried to talk to her, and every time she saw a starving stray animal, she would ignore it completly. Kuro likes to play games and usually she would end up killing someone during one.

Biography - Shins best friend the two met in phoenix village when they were young. One day the two were messing around out in phoenix's desert, when they stumbled up on a dark box, cody being the older more sensible of the two was the one who insisted on digging it up and opening it. Of course not knowing that in doing so would curse him for life.

Biography - He remembers little about his childhood, but knows that he traveled often. As soon as he reached teenage years, he recalls that he ran away from the cloaked person and began to wander around on his own.
