Hey there everyone,
I was just wondering if you think Marriage is something that you dream about or is it not your kind of thing? question Personally for me, marriage probably is one of the best things that could happen for someone, I know that it is the case for me, because someday soon I'll be married here on gaia to the one that I love. razz

I think it depends. I could see it as both a prison sentence or a happily ever after.
To me, being married to the wrong person could be dreadful. You could lose your individuality and your hopes. I think of the old tv show "Married... with Children", only without the charming leading ladies who went on to better things.
I think ideally, with the right person it could be wonderful. But I think a person has to be very very picky. A spouse is more than just that boyfriend/girlfriend you love very very much. It has to be founded on something so much deeper with a magnitude of trust and patience.

I have been with my girlfriend for five years so far. We have both agreed that we will most likely never get married. Her and I believe that we don't need a ring or a piece of paper to prove that we love each other.

Scared of Sunlight I have been with my girlfriend for five years so far. We have both agreed that we will most likely never get married. Her and I believe that we don't need a ring or a piece of paper to prove that we love each other. I know quite a few people who feel like this. For me, I'd like to get married to the person I have kids with...assuming that I find Him. redface I like the symbolism of the ring....and I want to have the same surname as my kids, so it makes sense for me to get married and take his name. ...now all I have to do is find him. Whoever, where ever he may be.

Ameliechan i want to marry and have kids,too. exspecially since i have my boyfriend, we are nearly 2 years together now, i often think about it. befor i met him i didn´t think much about marry. maybe he is the right one? Maybe he is! I hope he is for your sake. heart
