So, GGG, what have you done lately that made you feel all warm and chipper inside?
I'll tell you what did it for me. As I was walking home from the pianist's house, I saw a little bumbling thing about the size of a guinea pig in the car park behind my flat. It wasn't going very fast, so I walked up to it and sort of backed it into a corner. And it was a hedgehog! I'd never seen one in person before!
The poor thing was probably scared to hell, but I couldn't resist stroking it. Carefully. It felt very bristly and spiny and strange, but the little thing was just so cute. Then I backed off and let it fumble away into the bushes.
It had me feeling all cheery for the rest of the night!

D; Where did I ever say I picked it up? *Reads through initial post.* Hmm, nowhere. I never did pick it up. But I will confess to backing it into a corner. It did have an escape into the bushes, though. I hadn't expected it to stop.
