Does anyone have any pictures of a 1983 Chevy Van, pariticularly the side view and close up? sweatdrop
I know it's an odd request, but my brother (Steven) and I are trying to restore our old (but faithful) Chevy Van that I affectionately call "Big Guy." heart We can't find out what decals or logos, etc. were on the front sides by the grill and doors.
We have already restored two other cars to show car status or very close. I'll post pictures when I get a new memory card/flash card for my camera. xd
The other two cars are a 1978 Pontiac Grand Prix and 1985 Chrysler Plymouth Duster/Turismo. Both were our first cars (and the original first cars; we never sold them or got rid of them). They belonged to my paternal grandparents and my maternal grandfather respectively.
Like I said, I will post pictures when I can or if I have other pictures here on my computer already of them. Any help you can offer is appreciated. If you have pictures of any restored cars you have done yourself feel free to post them and talk about them as well as discuss and post stuff to help me or compliment us. Thanks. blaugh heart

I found this site that has several pics of a 1983 chevy van. Don't know if it helps or not but hopes it does. Here is the link to the web page. http://autopendium.com/vehicles/23-The-Van

Thanks everyone! I'll take a look at the website tomorrow or whenever I get a free chance during my studies this weekend. 3nodding
I have tried searching the internet, but mostly no luck as these are all either custom vans OR they're not exactly as our van was in the first place. At least these are the results I've turned up. confused

i've helped work on a couple restoration jobs, first my friend's 1977 chevy imapa aero coupe, then his now ex-girlfriend's 1972 buick skylark. the impala pic turned out great, but for some reason the skylark pic got shrunk. and finally, a 1971 plymouth hemi cuda, that was mine, but i sold while being 75% restored. i kick myself in the a** daily about that one. there's also a video clip with the flamethrower exhaust kit we put on the impala. if i find the link, i'll add that too. impala skylark cuda

Bakura Amane Awesome job, Buick! Love the blue! my friend wanted to paint it black with the blue ghost flames, but i talked him into the blue. turns out he liked it better that way. we shaved off the door handles and trunk lock. those are opened by remote control. the skylark is actually almost the original color, except that it has a metallic sheen to the paint. it's also slightly darker than original. the cuda went with a fresh coat of grey primer, but the 426 in it was painted the hemi orange with chrome highlights. i really wish i didn't sell it.
