I was wondering where you could get a japanese brush, I have tried writing with pens/pencil, but I would really like to try with the brush, though I have no idea what their called or what they look like. I know the tip is probably more pointed than normal brushs you see here but thats about all I know. Ive heard of "Rocket Pens" is what students in Japan use, but I have no idea if thats it or just what they use.

Fude~ a writing brush (筆)I have the one that comes in a shodo set and also the quick ink ones where all you do is write. It is self-inking. Your best bet would be to either look for them on eBay, an online store that deals with Japanese goods or check out calligraphy shops near you. http://www.shodokai.com/shop/ Click calligraphy tools 3nodding

Hmm, I would say go online like everyone said. Or if you live in New York, near it, or plan to visit it, there are many shops that sell Japanese goods.
