Well I liked playing Mafia in another guild so I decided to open one up here. The name of the game is for your team to survive. You play on the side of the mafia or town and depending on which side you belong to, you can talk and kill at different times. And yes there will be a small prize at the end.
I lurk sometimes so I don't know every rope of this guild so if inappropriate please lock.

Basic How to's: Roles and game-play mechanics
-The Mafia wants all townfolk to be killed and know who else is Mafia, they talk secretly through PM about who they want to kill and then each member sends a vote to me about who they want killed. The victim is released in the morning.
-The Town want all Mafia members to be killed and do not know who has what role in any form.
-During the day (3:00 am to 7:00 pm Pacific time) everyone (mafia and town) can talk in the game thread and spread their suspicions on who is Mafia or townsfolk and cast their vote on who will be lynched(hung/killed) at the end of the day.
-During the night (7:01 pm to 2:59 am) no one can talk but the Mafia can talk privately using pms but only to fellow Mafia members. During this time you cast your vote on who you want killed and in the morning I will announce who has been killed.
-Doctors can protect on person, by pming their name, of any harm during the night. Though if you protect a Mafia member you are automatically killed. If you do not select a person to protect than you will be assigned a random person to stay with using the random number generator. The Doctor is on the town side.
-Cops can identify which side a person is and their role on each day. PM the person's name to me during the day and I will tell you their role. You can publicly display it but if you state you are the cop then you may be targeted by attack by the Mafia.
-Traitors are people who work for the Mafia but do not get a vote on who is killed each night. They act like normal townies but win if the Mafia survives.
-The Hobo is a person who stays with one person each night. If the person stayed with is Mafia you are automatically killed but if the person you stay with is attacked by the Mafia then you are killed instead.
-The Reporter is a person who investigates 3 people each day. You do this by sending me three names of people you want to investigate and I will write something about two of them and publicly announce the status the other.

Good things:
-Be polite
-Be literate
-Random talk is ok, please do return to the subject at least a little

Bad things:
-Being a jack***
-txt talk and other things (abbreviations are ok)
-Breaking any rules such as talking at night
-Announcing your role (save for cops)
-Talking after death. When you die your out of the game, though your team can still win. If you talk after death your post will be deleted and you can no longer earn the prize money. You can talk utter nonsense to prove your still keeping up with the game.

The prize will be somewhere between 500 and 1000g, for each member of the winning team. I don't choose the teams I use a number generator so tough.
