Anyone cosplaying for some Anime Cons coming up? Im going as L and Near this weekend at one called Tekkoshocon, at the Radisson Hotel in Pittsburgh!

I went cosplaying at supanova the other weekend, and I went as L, and it was awesome. there was a bout 20 other L's there, but I was the only girl one, and one L- who was uber cute, stalked me until I let him hug my Light plushie blaugh

I'm going as L to Nan Desu Kan this year and my brother will be Light. We even have handcuffs!!

If I can get a wig in time, I may also dress as Mello.

I was at a con last weekend, and There weren't many L's
but the one that stood out the most was the L covered in blood. I didn't really get the blood splattering seeing that most of the deaths in death note involve no blood, but it was definately an eye catcher!
plus, the girl managed to do a really good job in spiking her hair up

Check Hot Topic. I've got some boots that would work for Matt cosplay, and that's where I got them. You might not be able to get perfect boots, but you should be able to get something that works.

AH!! I did go to Nan Desu Kan and L and Mello (hooray for finding a wig at the last minute.) I didn't get any pictures of me as L (because cherry ramune exploded on the costume, so I didn't get to wear it long), but here's a picture of me as Mello. It's not the greatest, because I didn't know my friend was taking a picture, so I'm not super in character, but oh well!! It's not bad, aside from that.

Ehmm the blood was because she wasn't L, she was B. From the novel 'Another note: Los angelas BB murder cases.' B is One of the boys from the wammy house who wanted to surpass L so he became a murderer to outsmart L. At the end of the novel, B died of a mysterious heart attack. O3o LOL. ^w^
