Guess who's turning two!
THE GUILD! According to the home page the anniversary of the guild is coming up. So aside from virtual cupcakes and balloons-- what should we do to commemorate the 2nd birthday?
Ideas?
Maybe we can make a poll of some of the ideas you generate.

Can I take the guild to a strip club?
It'll be okay 'cuz 1 guild year = 10.5 human years.

Headhunter Can I take the guild to a strip club? It'll be okay 'cuz 1 guild year = 10.5 human years. So in three years the guild will be 52.5 years old?

We did something similar in another guild I'm in for it's 3rd year anniversary (or some other year forget which one anyway...); we had a guild party centered around that number. Maybe a twin party (thus the 2nd theme). I dunno. I'm not sure I have any GOOD ideas today as I'm trying to think on homework and still celebrating the Jayhawks victory. whee

Whee! I wish I had some good ideas...we could just have some sort of fun random giveaway or something too....or maybe a contest? What about a guild birthday card contest or something like that?
We could also give presents to the guild...maybe we could have something sort of like a secret santa where we all give some item to mainman and then he distributes them randomly. That might be fun. smile

I'm stealing two ideas and pairing them up. I love the idea of a contest and the idea of creating twins is really cute. How about we pair people up and have them dress up as tiwns and "preform" a celebration for the guild. A preformance can be a poem, story, play, picture etc. Then have it judged by the masses and they receive a small prize. This will have small group participation and be something for everyone to have some say in.
I also like the idea of giving gifts to Main Man and have those distrubited to others in the guild.

Well I've been wanting to do guild awards (like the Oscars) for some time-- my only concern is that we have over 500 members, making sure everyone gets the recognition they deserve would be quite an undertaking!
I like the twin Idea! I also like the second birthday idea.
What about meet ups in towns/puzzles/fishing/etc? I'll have to check my schedule and see if I'd be busy then.
Perhaps with the twin idea we could pair up members of the guild who may not be familiar with one another--that way people could get a chance to make a new friend.
