Seriously, you'd think they would have made one by now, or at least some kind of announcement of one. From a business perspective, it would only be logical to make one. I wonder why they haven't...

It's been suggested before. It's not a horrible idea, but you gotta find the right developers and style, etc. I think a cell shaded SSB biggrin S game would work nicely. Less memory usage me thinks.

You're reply doesn't seem very negative. And yet, I notice a "No way" vote on the poll. Was that you?

By the way, people, don't bother looking this game up on Youtube. All you'll find is pointless crap.

The only problem would be the smashes. The fact that you'd be using a control pad means that the controls would be very similar to the sideways Wiimote in Brawl, unless the two button smash is applied.

Hmmm...Cel-Shaded Mario...Cool. biggrin And Psychicmind, the controls could be easy:
D-Pad: Movement A: Smash and Norman Attack B: Special Attacks X and Y: Jump L and R: ...Pizza Delivery?
I seriously don't know what L and R would do. But the controls would be very similar to the Gamecube's control style.

i love the idea, and agree that it would be incredibly difficult to transfer all the controls. By the way Cel-shaded charecters wouldn't be a bad idea either

The D-pad means you can't "smash" the conventional way.

MORE super smash bros! I'm all for it. and the cel-shaded chars sounds cool
But, like the person above, wouldn't it be really hard to transfer controls?

Negatives:
-Because of DS cartidge memory requirements, I don't think that all of the characters from Brawl would be available in a DS version. So which characters would you cut? There's a problem. Same for stages. -I'm sure C-stickers would have something to complain about.
Positives:
-The difference between Wii wi-fi and DS wi-fi? MICROPHONE! mrgreen -It's freakin' Smash Bros! ...On a handheld! -I imagine the battle screen could be at the top, and the damage percentages could be at the bottom, leaving more room to see the battle.
I voted yes. ^^
