Ouch ouch and ouch, I can't stop hurting myself first I busted my nose then... back onto subject, everytime I hit my mouth with the flag, by accident of caorse, I cut the inside of my mouth really really badly any advice on how to keep my braces from cuting my lip.

Get some dental wax, and put it over the problem brackets.
That's what I did when I first got mine...but it always made my mouth feel weird.
Let's hope you stop getting whacked.

I will try that! Yeah I hope I stop hitting myself too, I just got home from a guard fundraiser cleaning up brush and now I look emo from where I fell into thorny vines. emo

i'm so glad i'ven lucky with brace/gaurd related injuries so far.... the only band related injury to my mouth/braces is that a clarinte played accidently hit me in the face while we where playing foot ball with a gatorade bottle... I managed to get cut in the inside of my mouth along my jaw line....
