Egypt-Themed Pet Shop?

I'm planning to start this Egyptian God-themed petshop here on Gaia, called Kheperen-Re, which means "Image of God," and could be used as an ancient Egyptian name.
Anyway, I seriously need to brush up on my history, mythology, and the ancient Egyptian language, since my character in the shop roleplay speaks it fluently. The other two for obvious reasons. Some good websites or books? I prefer books.
Also, would you be interested in that sort of shop?

We're searching for a colorist at the moment. So far, nobody has finished coloring, except for one person who is not serious about it. :c

That is a wonderful idea! surprised I don't know where you can find any information as I have learned most of what I know thanks to History Channel and such. I apologize.
