Do the patterns include seam allowance? If not, how much should I add? If they do, how much seam allowance is provided?
NO! GosuRori patterns absolutely do not include seam allowance. Common American seam allowance measurements are 1/2in, 3/4in. Japanese patterns normally use 1cm of seam allowance (I think this is much easier to work with).
Help! I can't find the piece on the pattern sheet that's required for my project!
Not all the complete pieces are required. If you look at the diagrams in the back of the book, where the assembly directions are, it shows a whole kittenkaboodle of measurements. As long as there's a right angle, you can draw the pieces from scratch using a long, straight edge or ruler. Some patterns call for the use of pre-existing pattern pieces, numbered for easy location, and are required to be edited, as according to the diagrams in the book. [I'm not sure if this is exact, but the diagrams in the book are measured in millimeters, while the actual pieces (~sizeM) are measured in centimeters. So theoretically you can x10 the image on a computer and print it, and there's your pattern piece. I've never tried it. Someone verify this?]
This pattern calls for a zipper, but there are no numbers! How long does the zipper need to be? Is there a way to order custom-size zippers?

The above are sort of common questions that I first had when looking at the GosuRori patterns. I know some answers to most of them, and I typed what I thought the answers were. If you have any other questions, or corrections to my answers, post them. I think it would be useful to put all the questions and answers here... If this is a repeat thread, please delete~
