Okay, not trying to offend anyone here, but seriously, ew... burning_eyes I could never see any of the Whammy boys with L. He's too old, so that would make him some sort of ***** or something. The only yaoi pairing with L I can see is when he's with Raito. I think that if any of the Whammy boys were older, it might work, but they're all like, 10+ years younger than him, or something around that. So, can you kinda see why I'm all like gonk or burning_eyes for this pairing? It just doesn't work for me.

I can picture a one-sided love on Near's part, expecially with how obsessed he was with L or being L. It doesn't float my boat, but it could be cute.

Although when I see pictures of it and Mello is there, then I don't like it at all.

Hmm... I agree with Kunoichi21 in a way.
However, I do like it in fanart and such when it kind of shows L as a sort of "father figure" to Near, if you get what I mean.
Those ones are pretty cute, in my opinion.

Second...I am not a fan of this pairing. It seems ***** (is that a word? o__o)

Third...They are both too sexy to be paired with each other. If they were, the sexiness would cause the Universe to explode. And I happen to like the Universe (that's why I capitalize it. :3)

well L died at 25... cuz he died 2004. If he hadn't hed be what...29? And Near and the wammy boys are in their teens? And Raito was born 1986? so I really don't like any of the pairings... But with Raito it makes more sence just cuz hes closer to L's age.

I think it's weird because they're too much alike. It'd be like L was dating a mirror...a short mirror that was tinted white.

I think the age problem is what keeps me from liking this pairing. It's sort of like with RoyxEd from Fullmetal Alchemist. Roy is 30 and Ed's 16. Yeah, the age thing ruins a lot of crack pairings for me...
