Saw a couple of these, so I thought I would make one for oboe.
1. Thou shalt not drop thy oboe.
2. Thou shalt not sneeze while reed is in thy mouth.
3. Thou shalt make a secret handshake with the bassoons.
4. Thou shalt annoy bassoons by repeatedly tapping their pancake key.
5. Thou shalt squeak on the high notes and blame it on the clarinets.
6. Thou shalt play flat on every other note.
7. Thou shalt play sharp on every OTHER note.
8. Thou shalt not play thy oboe out in the cold.
9. Thou shalt complain when thy music is flute music.
10. Thou shalt not let thy hair come into thy mouth when playing.

xDDDD Fuuunny. I played Oboe in Summer Music Camp once. Now I just have the reed, and it tickles every time I blow on it.. xP But I'm a brass player, so I refused to play any of the easier woodwinds 'cause you just... blow.

How come they can not play in the cold? confused Most are made of wood, so it will crack, the core, too, and be unplayable. Your sig scares me o.0

I think not playing any woodwind in the cold or rainy weather is bull, because I play both bagpipes and oboe, and back in Scotland, they'd play bagpipes (Made of wood) in the rain, the cold, and in any other weather!
But anyways, I shall now follow these commandments!
