I have a feeling I got into this guild because I was in and around the Fashion and Style forum, yes I can't remember whether I was invited or whether I looked in the guild listing.
Strangely there is a lack of a Goth fashion topic in the F&S. This surprised me a lot when I noticed, especially seeing as there is topics for lesser known fashions like Visual Kei and Steampunk, both of which are worth a look by the way.
Is there a reason for this or should I make/get someone to make one?
The link list in the sticky up there could be used to great effect.

If you mean a thread detailing the different fashion divisions of goth, go to the sticky that GilAskan made in the main forum ("The Labels Sticky")

So, the question you're asking is "Why isn't there a general goth fashion thread in the public Fashion forum?"
In which case, there may be a few answers.
1) Goth fashion is pretty damn large, and making such a thread would be a huge undertaking.
2) Disagreements about "what is goth" and "what isn't goth" would ultimately break out in the thread, which may dissuade many makers. Furthermore, because the fashion is so broad and the disagreements so common, there'd be a lot of "Why do you have _______ but don't have ______? _______ is SO much more goth than _______".
3) Some may have been made in the past, and closed. This may dissuade others from making new ones.
If that wasn't the question you were asking, perhaps it was "Should I make one, or get one made?". In which case, again, a few answers-
1) If you do, be prepared to do a lot of research. You're going to have to cover dozens of fashion styles, and all of their origins, elements, and examples. Furthermore, to make the whole thing cohesive, you'd also have to research fashion trends that aren't part of goth but were influential to it (mod, punk, etc.), as well as fashion styles that aren't part of goth but were influenced by it (mallgoth fashion, visual kei, etc.).
2) If you make such a thread, you're going to have to support your statements. Not just with citations or facts, but with logic. There'll be tons of people complaining or challenging your thread's information, and you'll have to be able to coherently and completely shoot down people who'll challenge you on a fundemental level.

You are absolutely right. That is a major shame as it would be very useful.
I'll just drop lots of hints with skilled topic makers with plenty of time.

I think you should just make a general one and reserve a few posts on the first page to add to it as people post.

XXX Zombie Porn I think you should just make a general one and reserve a few posts on the first page to add to it as people post. I could, and I may yet, but not quite yet, I want to spend a bit of time on it. Might start with going through the link list in the sticky in this subforum checking for dead links.
With the posters permission I might even be able to recycle some posts in the guild.
